Helping People Develop Resilience & Access Resources In The Face Of Trauma

How Does This Work?

Our Resilience Coach walks with people through life’s most challenging moments, resourcing them with emotional tools, caring community and supportive services.

Why Does This Matter?

The Bible tells the story of a woman named Naomi who endured trauma upon trauma. She faced a famine which pushed her to migrate to a new place where she was marginalized as an ethnic minority due to historic tensions between people groups. There her husband and two sons died. Naomi was bitter and without hope.

In that moment of darkness, when it seemed like no good could come from her situation, Naomi’s daughter in law, Ruth, said, “Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” (Ruth 1:16) Ruth’s courageous choice to walk with Naomi through her pain helped Naomi develop the resilience to overcome her traumas. Ruth connected Naomi to the relationships and resources she needed to find joy and hope again.

Our Resilience Coach is a Ruth to neighbors in need.
